Roadtrip Across Northern Arizona
 

Just a few extra things I encountered during my roadtrip from Arizona to Nebraska following the funeral of a dear friend back in 2012.  These views were found along a state highway between Flagstaff, Arizona and Kayenta, Arizona.  The *best* find of the day was as I approached Kayenta at the end of a very long day of driving (and photographing along the way).  The sun had just set, and there against a darkening sky was a delightful, colorful carnival stretched out before me.  While my hotel bed had been calling to me for the previous two hours of driving, this beautiful setting called to me even more!
