Zoom, Zoom, Zoom at the Zoo!
 

I was planning a trip to Kearney, Nebraska to photograph migrating Sandhill cranes, something I had never seen before.  To make the most of that photography opportunity, I rented a 400mm zoom lens from a local photography equipment shop.  When I learned that I could pick up the zoom lens early the morning of my scheduled trip, I took the extra opportunity to head straight to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium -- did you know that this zoo has been rated the #1 zoo in the WORLD?!  It's a really nice zoo!.  I can't begin to describe the excitement I felt to be able to get so much "closer" to all the animals at the zoo thanks to the rented zoom lens! I only had about two hours to cover the whole zoo, which surely wasn't enough time!  Oh well...I had a BLAST!  I hope you like the results!
