Backyard Blooms

 

I'm very fortunate to have a life partner who has a very successful green thumb as evidenced by all the amazing blooms that adorn all parts of our yard.  These flowers give me endless hours of photography "practice" and hours upon hours of flower power therapy.  If only I could have included a "scratch-and-sniff" feature on this page with all the amazing fragrances that accompany these beautiful blooms.

The Hot and Humid Collection:  Photos taken during the first week of August

Summer heat and humidity definitely make their presence known here in Omaha, Nebraska.  This collection of blooming flowers from our yard's flower gardens endured both quite well, thankfully.  Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the photographer!  Whew!  ;-)
